Body Shop Haul

Hi everyone!!! I have never shopped at the Body Shop before but the other day I was on their website and I couldn't believe how affordable their things are! And right now everything is 40% off so you can buy foundation that is originally $25 for only $5..(UPDATE: I just looked and the 40% off is over but they have amazing sales every week.) So I think you'd be crazy if you didn't take advantage of that. I absolutely love makeup and just everything beauty related and although I hate spending a lot of money on make up I think it's nice to spoil yourself once in a while. So I'd like to share with you the things I got and maybe you'll find something you want to buy. Also I'm not going to review any of these because I literally just got them. Enjoy:)
First of I just want to say how nice they package their things and I think it looked so cute before I messed it all up..

Brush on beads.
This is a bronzer and I think it's so cool how it's beads instead of the usual powder. I haven't used a bead bronzer before so I'm not sure how well it's going to look but it looked pretty and so I thought I would give it a try. It's normally $22 I got it for $5. The only thing that worries me is that it looks too dark for almost everyone! And i'm super pale so i'm super worried.

Honeymania soap.
I just thought it looked super cute but it smells amazing. It does have a floral scent to it as well. It's originally $4 and I got it for $1.50.

Face Masks.
I LOVE face masks and if I use the same one over and over again I do tend to get bored of it so I wanted to try a bunch of different ones to see if I like any. In order from left to right: Vitamin C Microdermabrasion, Seaweed Ionic Clay Mask, Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask, Tea Tree Face mask

All-In-One BB Cream
This looks amazing. I tried a bit on my hand today and it comes out of the tube like a white lotion but when you rub it in it turns into a BB cream and it matches my skin so perfectly and I'm just so excited to try it out properly. It was originally $22 and again I paid $5.

Honeymania Bubble Bath melt
Again, I'm so excited to use this. This does sort of look like a shower gel but instead of a bottle it comes in a little can. It also smells good but when I first opened it it spilled everywhere and it was pretty sticky.

Coconut Soap
I love anything coconut. It is my most favorite scent. This is kinda a boring one it's just body soap.

Baked-To-Last Bronzer
Not going to lie I am a bit disappointed with this one. It's not my picture that makes it look so dull, it actually looks like that in real life and that's not how it looked on their website. I mean I haven't tried it on yet so I'm sure it's wonderful but I wish it looked prettier.

August Favorites

Hi everyone! Since August has come to an end (almost) I thought I would talk about everything I enjoyed in August (which is kinda a lot) I tried so many new beauty products and so many of them have become my favorite! There are also a few old favorites that I haven't used for a while and re discovered them. Hope you enjoy:)
Here's an overview of my favorites. It ranges from hair products to lip products to a face wash. These are all also drug store products so they are pretty affordable. I feel like I have soo much to talk about so let's get started for real!

Over the past couple of months I have been getting horrible breakouts and pimples that hurt! I would have red spots all over my cheeks and it was very aggravating. I have tried a bajilion different acne treatments and I felt like nothing was helping. Starting in May I decided to not wear any face makeup (excluding eye make up and lip glosses of course!) I felt like I needed to let my face breath and I was the type of person that couldn't leave my house anywhere without covering up my acne. So I didn't wear any make up for about 3 and a half months. I'm not sure if that really helped because to this day I break out randomly. However, I went to see a dermatologist about a month ago and she recommended that I use the Cetaphil oil control foam wash. I'm not 100% sure this solved the problem but it did help A LOT. I still get breakouts every now and then but it's nothing compared to how I used to. This also comes with a moisturizer but something in that moisturizer doesn't like my face because I got an allergic reaction to it and it practically burned my face of! But the wash is amazing and I really do recommend buying it if you do suffer with horrible acne.

My next favorite is the TRESemme smooth dry shampoo. This is literally magic in a bottle. I know how bad it is to wash your hair every day but it's also pretty bad when your hair is disgustingly greasy. I'll wash my hair and an hour later it's greasy again. But this saved my life! (so dramatic..) I literally wash my hair about 3 times a week now instead of 7 which if you ask me is pretty amazing. This really does absorb all the oil and makes it look like you really did wash your hair. I use this right after I have freshly washed hair because it gives me volume as well and it takes care of my "flat" hair problem. I would highly highly highly recommend this as well!

A couple days ago I have also cut a couple inches of my hair so it is a bit shorter and ever since my hair had been sort of wavy. And I have been using this TONI&GUY Casual seas salt spray to get even more texture and waves into my hair. This is only a sample I got and unfortunately I did run out of it but I will most definitely be repurchasing this because it really is the best sea salt spray I have tried.

I got this ABSOLUTE New York balm as a free sample as well from Ipsy and it's the cutest thing. It smells nice and it really does moisturize your lips. The only complaint I have is that i wish it was in a tube because I hate lip balms where you have to use your fingers and then wipe it off on your clothes cause you're too lazy to go get a napkin.. (maybe that's just me?)

I feel like everyone is raving about these REVLON colorstay moisture stain lip glosses. To be honest when I first tried it I didnt really like the texture of it and how it felt on my lips (I only put on one coat) I then decided to give it another go and I applied more than once and it is the nicest lip gloss out there! When I put on just one coat it made my lips so dry it felt gross (but that's my fault because you could't even see the color so I don't know what I was thinking.) It is a bit pricey but it's worth every penny. The color I bought it in was 010 LA Exclusive and to be honest with you I didn't like any of the other shades. They were too dark for me as I am not brave enough for bright shades. But I love this one <3

This one was an impulse buy but I also saw a lot of raves for the Rimmel London show off lip lacquer. However it looked so much lighter in the tube than it really is and it kind of upsets me because I love the applicator and the texture and it just looks so pretty but like I said before I am not brave at all to wear bright red lip gloss. But I found a way around it:) I use the tinniest dab of it and just spread it on my lips (even though it still comes on as red it is not as bright and I can live with that.) It also wasn't very pricey so I'm not too upset about it.

This is literally my favorite out of my favorites!!! I was so close to not buying this Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Rockin curves mascara. I have tried Rimmel's mascaras before and they have just never appealed to me. But this one looked pretty and it was right in front of my face and I felt like I just had to. So I did and I love it times 1000. I usually also don't like curved brushes but I think that's what makes this one so amazing. I put on one coat and it literally makes the biggest difference in the world and it doesn't clump at all. I can't say enough how amazing it is and I really hope it's not limited edition because if it is I need to stock up because it's just the best thing that could ever happen to lashes.

This NYX concealer is my second most favorite out of my favorites. I can never find a concealer that matches my skin tone and if I only want to use concealer without any foundation it is so obvious. But this one, again, is amazing. It matches my skin tone so perfectly and it comes on so nicely and it really does cover most of my redness. I love it. Again it's not expensive at all but I would honestly pay more because the quality of it is so good.

Last but definitely not least are these real techniques brushes. I have been debating for the longest time on whether or not to buy these and I finally decided to treat myself and let me tell you... I have no regrets. This taught me brushes really do make the difference. I used to use really cheap brushes when putting on foundation and that's exactly what I got... cheap results. But these are so smooth and my foundation looks so natural and not cakey at all.
